The JW Marriott Scottsdale, AZ...
Lauren & Casey were both attending a digital marketing networking event in February, 2017. Lauren’s managers knew she’d be the perfect match for Casey (a tall, handsome, southern gentleman with a beard) after meeting with him and his boss over cocktails in the resort bar. It didn’t take long for them to convince Casey he should meet Lauren. Once the two were finally introduced they spent the night getting to know each other around a cozy fire pit under the twinkling Arizona stars.
At the time Lauren lived in New York and Casey lived in Dallas. They continued to talk every day getting to know each other. Little did Casey know, Lauren already had plans of her own to move to Texas prior to their magical night. She was excited to book a trip to visit him. After a weekend of tacos, live music, and Casey’s charm she just couldn’t wait to be a Southern girl.
A few months (and many miles) later she arrived in Texas with her pup, Ollie. Casey was the first person to welcome Lauren to her new apartment where they continued their Arizona inspired love story.

The Bridge at Trinity River, Dallas
Casey & Lauren had their first official Dallas date at Trinity Groves in 2017. Two years later he would propose to her after a New York style Italian dinner at Saint Rocco’s Restaurant .
It was a beautiful night in Dallas with a slight breeze. After walking the short path between the restaurant and the bridge, the two found there were many more pedestrians than they had anticipated. Lauren asked to take a few pictures with the Dallas skyline in the background. Casey obliged but suggested moving locations for better lighting. It was about three quarters to the end of the bridge where they decided they’d get the best photos.
The couple embraced and Casey started breathing fast. Lauren asked him “why are you breathing like Ollie?”. It was of course because Casey was about to pour his heart out to her, get on one knee, and ask her to be his wife. Lauren said yes and the two finally got the perfect picture in front of the Dallas skyline.
